The wild daffodils are a highlight, transforming entire meadows in the Perlenbach Valley into a bright yellow sea of flowers. The variety of orchids in Prümer Land and the Southern Eifel Nature Park will also delight nature lovers. If you look closely, you might spot the rare marsh fritillary.
From May onwards, the golden-yellow blooming broom, the "Eifel gold", sets bright accents in the landscape. This natural spectacle is particularly impressive on the "Heidehimmel-Volkesfeld" dream trailin the High Eifel. Delicate violets gently adorn the paths, for example along the panoramic Eifel trail "Münstereifelsteig".
