REACT-EU funding

Photos and texts in the Eifel framework were funded by the REACT-EU program

With the REACT-EU program, the European Union has launched a recovery aid program to mitigate the economic and social consequences of the Covid19 pandemic in Europe.
The funded project "Recovery for tourism in North Rhine-Westphalia" by Eifel Tourismus GmbH is aimed at sharpening the thematic focus and target group orientation of the destination Eifel (NRW) and the city of Aachen as a result of the severe cuts caused by the pandemic and to generate noticeable direct and indirect added value within the North Rhine-Westphalian travel industry by generating demand impulses for tourism offers and products.

In the long term, the implementation of the individual projects will help to increase the digital presence of the destination Eifel and the city of Aachen, promote digitalization and thus sustainably support the implementation of the state tourism strategy.
