From nature trails to pump tracks

When your heart beats in sync with your pedal stroke, when the earth splashes and the scent of the forest fills the air - that's when you experience real mountain biking fun. And where nature is not a backdrop, but a stage: in the middle of the Eifel.

In the middle of one of the most diverse mountain bike regions in Germany, sporting passion and scenic enjoyment merge into a unique experience. Whether you are battling your way through rocky passages, rolling towards the horizon on flowing trails or taking a breather on the banks of a tranquil Maar lake - each route tells its own story. Sometimes wild and challenging, sometimes calm and beautiful to take a deep breath. And at the end? Perhaps a cool drink awaits you on the terrace of an Eifel inn - and the feeling of having become one with your bike, the landscape and the moment.

Touring fun

The adventure begins in the Vulkaneifel Trail Park. Over 750 kilometers of signposted mountain bike trails lead you through a landscape shaped by volcanic fire. 17,500 meters of altitude are waiting to be conquered - technically challenging, varied and rewarded with spectacular panoramas. You will find flow, freedom - and maybe even yourself - between the lava floor and maar craters.

Sporty, challenging and full of history: the Radarena am Ring invites you to a special program of contrasts. Where racing cars once battled for seconds, you can now pedal yourself - on a network of tracks at the Nürburgring that challenges speed, cornering technique and muscle strength in equal measure.

Less racing fever, more love of the countryside? Then head north - to the Freifahrt Eifel. 20 mountain bike trails, more than 500 kilometers of riding fun, embedded in a backdrop of wide meadows, winding forest paths and small, almost forgotten villages. Here, every MTB ride becomes an intense nature experience that challenges - and rewards - body and mind in equal measure.

Pure adrenaline for freeride fans can be found in the DIMB BikePark Rureifel - with jump lines, berms and tables.

Whether you want to collect altitude meters or simply clear your head - the Eifel gives you space for your own flow.

Discover pump tracks

Small course, big riding experience: pump tracks are wave rides on two wheels.
The compact circuits with hills, steep bends and jumps can be mastered without pedaling - just through body awareness, dynamics and the right flow. Whether on a bike, scooter or BMX, it's rhythm rather than speed that counts here. Perfect for practicing, letting off steam and simply having fun - for everyone who loves the swing.
