  • Visit a museum
    The museum landscape in the Eifel is diverse. These include natural history museums such as the Maarmuseum Manderscheid, the Devonium Waxweiler or the National Park exhibition Wildnis(t)räume, art exhibitions such as the Leopold-Hoesch Museum in Düren, the Fotografie Forum Monschau or museums of industrial culture such as the Tuchfabrik Müller or visitor mines.
  • Thermal baths & spas
    Swimming pools and thermal baths such as the Vulkaneifel-Therme Bad Bertrich, the Eifel-Therme Zikkurat in Mechernich and others are perfect places to go when it's uncomfortable outside.
  • Castles and palaces
    Eltz Castle, Bürresheim Castle or the Nideggen Castle Museum are also interesting excursion destinations when it rains
  • Indoor playgrounds
    Children can let off steam at indoor playgrounds
  • Short hikes
