Relaxed on the move, optimally connected
When you get on your bike in the Eifel, you are often quickly away from the traffic: on well-signposted cycle paths that lead pleasantly quietly through forests, valleys and wide landscapes. Many routes tend to be flat - tours along rivers such as the Kyll, Prüm, Sauer or Enz and cycle paths on old railroad lines, where you can cycle at a steady pace, are typical. You can take in the Eifel at your leisure. This is exactly what classics such as the Maare-Moselle cycle path (former railroad line, almost without gradients) or the Kyll cycle path, which accompanies you for a long time close to the river through the valley, stand for.
The best thing is that many cycle paths in the Eifel are interconnected, so you can put together your tour like a modular system - sometimes as a short leisure tour, sometimes as a longer journey of discovery over several stages as a cycling vacation.
