    The youth holiday home Krekel of the Girl Scouts St. Georg Diözesanverband Aachen e.V. is open as a barrier-free self-catering house for groups of all kinds. Whether vacation camps, class trips, work conferences or family weekends - all are welcome! (Full board possible on request) There is a large day (conference) room, middle day room, chapel (also usable as a third day room), large garden, table tennis table, foosball, fireplace, swivel grill, parking in front of the house. Our kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, 5-burner stove with oven, tilting frying pan and large refrigerator. Our house is 100% barrier-free, it has two floors (first floor and basement), which are accessible via ramps. The kitchen is also wheelchair accessible (large work table in the middle of the room that can be moved under). The outdoor facilities are also accessible to all via ramps. Up to 15 wheelchair users can be accommodated in our house. Professional nursing beds and 2 lifters are also available for an additional charge if needed. Our house was certified October 2022 by Travel for All as barrier-free! We are a star host in the Eifel National Park since 2022! When was the last time you saw the Milky Way with your naked eyes? When was the last time you experienced a really dark night? To experience stars and star images intensively is hardly possible in many places anymore. Our trained SternenGuide will guide you through the Eifel nights (outside the Eifel National Park) and give you insights into the secrets of the night and the starry sky. We offer a 2.5 hour star walk. The cost is 130,00€ regardless of the number of participants. Headlamps with red light function and sleeping mats are provided.

    our vacation home in Daun. Summer house Daun The detached large holiday home is in the middle of the charming small town of Daun. The outside area of the house includes a garden and a 20 sqm balcony with patio furniture. The central location enables cafes, shops and relaxing walking routes to be reached quickly. Free internet / WiFi is available. You will receive a corresponding code word for the WLAN (WIFI). The house extends over 3 floors and offers accommodation for 10 -12 people. There are 5 charming, newly renovated double bedrooms, a spacious living room with TV and a wonderfully cozy couch. You will also be delighted by the equally spacious dining area with a wooden table for 12 people and inviting dishes for relaxed and tasty meals. A cozy secretary can also do the necessary business work. Two bathrooms in the style of the 1960s, 3 toilets and a storage room with washing machine (€ 4.50 fee) are available. A well-equipped kitchen with 4 seats, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle. Pots, cutlery and dishes for the maximum number of people are available. The spice rack can be used with pleasure. The house has a parking space in the garage entrance. The garage can be used to store bicycles. Many sights and leisure facilities are within walking distance. Shopping, shopping, restaurants, cafes, cinema, wellness or indoor hot water bath etc. can be reached quickly. The DRK and emergency doctor is right across the street. A large supermarket and 3 bakeries (also with Sunday sales) and a children's playground can be found only about 100 to 150 meters away. The Daun Maare are ideal for hikes and walks and are only 2 to 3 km away. Visit the Daun spa park, which invites you to linger. Important NOTE: Unfortunately pets are not allowed. The house is not standing! available as a party house! The house is used privately by us in times of non-renting. We have lovingly furnished everything and wish you a lot of joy for your relaxing holiday.
