The Eifel is always worth a trip!

Our holiday apartment is located on the outskirts of Jünkerath in a quiet, sunny location. Jünkerath is situated in the upper Kylltal at an altitude of 420 m above sea level in the Vulkaneifel and belongs to the VG Gerolstein.

The holiday apartment is suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Here you will find everything from A (like pharmacy) to Z (like dentist), shopping center, branches of major discounters, bakery with café, gas station, doctor's office in the village, all within walking distance.

About 500 meters from the front door, you will find many hiking trails in unspoiled nature, as well as the Kylltal cycling path, connecting to the Ahrtal cycling path. Indoor pool, sauna, and solarium are about 200 meters from the holiday apartment. You can find fishing at the forest reservoir after about 800 meters.

Active holidays, sports and fitness, Nordic walking, fitness studio, tennis court, and a large children's playground (directly at the Kyll), all can be found in Jünkerath.

    Welcome to our beautifully renovated holiday home in the picturesque Monreal! Monreal is a small, idyllic village in the Eifel region, close to Mosel and Rhein rivers with their gorgeous sceneries. In 2004, Monreal was voted the most beautiful village in Germany and you will be truly enchanted during your visit by the beauty of that small village.  The house is located in the historic centre of Monreal and you can enjoy our old castle view from all of the comfortable rooms we offer. We preserved the old substance of the house for you to enjoy the atmosphere of the old townhouse and travel back in time with its historic decoration and wall details. Your holiday in Astorius house will combine history with modernity in its quirky and full of character design and exposed stones. The house offers three separate apartments to allow you for your intimacy but you can also share your time with other house mates should you be part of a group.  The house history was also marked in a book by Friedrich Hermes:"Monreal, Grabenstraße 9. The history of a house and its inhabitants":  ... Where now runs the grave street in the medieval town Monreal was the moat that protected the city on the west side from unwanted intruders. After the destruction of Monreal castles by the troops of the French King Louis XIV in 1689, gardens were created in the filled ditch. The house is partly still using the rubble of the former medieval town walls… The house has three separate units, each heated by a floor heating.Furthermore, each apartment is equipped with central vacuum, flat screen TV and Wi-Fi.All apartments are provided on arrival with fresh linen, towels and dishtowels.The holiday home is an animal- and smoke-free house.

The day starts with a rich breakfast buffet and you can relax in the log cabin sauna or in the solarium. The restaurant offers regional and international cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. The hotel offers an elevator, telephone booth, garages and parking spaces at the hotel as well as conference rooms for up to 30 people, including appropriate equipment. Many specialty weeks and special days take place throughout the year. For example, a guided hiking week takes place in September in conjunction with the Eifelverein.
