Nordic Walking Biersdorf am See
This route is the longest of the 3 Nordic Walking trails at the Bitburg reservoir. It is marked with a black arrow.
The signposting of the parcous is subdivided by colour: blue for the short route, red for the medium route and black for the long route.
At the starting point there is a large sign giving an overview of the courses and the basic movements of Nordic Walking.
The reservoir near Biersdorf, located in the scenic valley of the Prüm, is the tourist centre of the southern Eifel. The 35-hectare reservoir offers a wide range of leisure activities such as pedal boating, rowing, paddling and fishing. A special attraction is the fountain in the middle of the lake, which can be seen in summer.
The approx. 18 km long trail leads around the reservoir, past the community of Koosbüsch.
