The barrier-free comfort hiking trail around the Auw reservoir is accessible and can be experienced by people with motor impairments.
The barrier-free comfort hiking trail takes you around the Auw reservoir, which is embedded in a magnificent landscape. It is located in the immediate vicinity of Belgium.
Take note of the specially protected biotopes (wet meadows, reed beds, alder swamp forest). The artificial recreational lake is fed by the natural "Auwbach" stream.
Three information boards tell you about orchards, beavers and fish.
With a fishing license, you can fish from the barrier-free fishing jetty.
Rest areas and benches along the trail invite you to linger.
