Visit the glassworks in Monschau and experience the ancient craft of glassblowing. This art has its origins in the Roman Empire, whose craft techniques have been preserved to this day. The two glassblowers Valdemar de Sousa and Fernando Costa are masters of their craft and let you experience how a glowing mass of sand, potash and lime is transformed into a sparkling vessel or a beautiful glass figure through skillful pulling, pinching and blowing.
