Burgenmuseum Nideggen

The Nideggen Castle Museum welcomes you on a journey of discovery into the Middle Ages. In the exhibition rooms, you go on a cultural and time travel into the world of medieval castle life and experience chivalry and the economic culture of the Middle Ages in an authentic setting. In the dungeon, you can find out what fate befell the prisoners of Nideggen Castle. In a 9 m² multimedia presentation, you become a participant in castle life and experience the destruction of the castle up close.

The castle museum offers an extensive program of events as well as workshops and guided tours for school classes, families and adults.
It is also possible to have a civil wedding in the chapel of the keep.

Families can also celebrate children's birthday parties at the castle. There are various programs:
archery, ghosts in the castle, telling fairy tales and being creative, medieval dances in the castle, knights and damsels.
