Euskirchen-Kreuzweingarten - Rheinbach
The first Stage boasts a wealth of natural landmarks and cultural treasures. The Ahr spring in Blankenheim marks the starting point of the first Stage.
Nat'Our Route 6 – Kammerwald Forest
On a wonderful route through the beautiful landscape of the Hocheifel you will experience a multitude of partly well-preserved mills. Some of them can still be visited today. The multi-day route fascinates with the multifaceted landscapes that are to be discovered during the hike. Mountain ranges with grandiose views alternate with the beauties along various watercourses and forest passages.
Circular hike / 7 km
This 16 km long EifelSpur trail takes you through the hills densely covered with juniper bushes in the impressive Lampertstal nature reserve near Alendorf and Ripsdorf south of Blankenheim.
The "Alte 5er" offers plenty of variety and combines unique scenic highlights of the Vordereifel such as the Heidbüchel heathland, the Menkepark in the juniper heaths and the "Heidetümpel" biotope on the Kindgen.
The hiking trail leads from the Heimbach reservoir up to Mariawald Trappist Abbey.
This beautifully scenic two-day route offers the hiker the experience of a journey into the past in the footsteps of the Knights of St. John over a distance of around 42 km.
