And in a museum where “Please don’t touch” is written everywhere, you don’t feel comfortable. Our lovingly renovated, rustic vacation home "Haus Messern" is located in the beautiful Eifel village of Rittersdorf. The beer town of Bitburg can be reached in 5 minutes by car or easily via the cycle path (4km). The house has a total of approx. 120 m² with 6 bedrooms for 10 people. The original wooden staircase leads to 2 bathrooms, a play and reading room and a living/dining room on 4 floors. A selection of books, information material and board games are available to guests in the games and reading room. The modern and individual furnishings create a cozy feel-good atmosphere. Low ceilings, sloping walls and floors and steep stairs make up the unique character of the Eifelhaus. The fully equipped fitted kitchen has a ceramic hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. There is also a separate washing machine room. We offer free internet. In addition to free parking directly at the house, you can store your bicycles and motorcycles in our garage on request. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling (cycle path to Bitburg) and hiking.

Our house was newly built in 2012 and is situated on the edge of the Heimbach district of Hasenfeld in a quiet location. We are surrounded by forest and yet our neighbors are only a stone's throw away. Many hiking trails start in the immediate vicinity. Stores, supermarket, post office and restaurants can be reached in a few minutes.

Our vacation apartment is located in the Düttling district of the national park town of Heimbach and is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes or bike tours. Two floors on over 80 square meters offer enough space for three adults or two adults with two children, in addition there is a crib in the large bedroom. In the courtyard there is enough space to store bicycles or to enjoy a coffee. We look forward to welcoming you.
