The bathroom has been beautifully renovated, with ancient stone troughs for washing, standing on ancient oak planks.With a shower and bathtub, you can really feel at home here.A narrow staircase leads upstairs, where your gaze wanders directly back to the massive quarry stone fireplace of the oven.Here you will also find a single bed and a small workstation.Up here you will also find the small but beautiful bedroom, with a tiny walk-in closet and dressing table.At the other end is the living room with a large TV, a sofa bed and a view of the terrace. Hotel-Restaurant Hollerather Hof is located at approximately 600 meters above sea level in the small town of Hollerath in the municipality Hellenthal. The hotel is situated between the Eifel National Park and the German-Belgian Nature Park Hohes Venn. You can access the woods directly from the hotel backyard. The unique landscape has a great variety. Rivers, streams, lakes and reservoirs, the colorful variety of plants and open and forested mountains and valleys.Every year thousands of tourists visit the Eifel region to enjoy nature. The area is very popular, especially with walkers and cyclists, but also with motorcyclists. Besides the natural beauty this last category of visitors especially enjoys the many hairpin bends in the area.In winter the hotel is also worth a visit. They can either be rented separately or all together as a vacation apartment. There is a shared bathroom in the hallway, which is private if booked as a vacation apartment.Our rooms are also very suitable for families with children who would like to spend their vacation with us together. Our lounge with self-catering kitchenIf you walk across our forecourt, you come to the cozy dining room, which has a self-catering kitchen. The dining room used to be a stable, which you can still see from the feeding troughs that have been converted into benches and the rustic stone floor. The self-catering kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils, as well as a basic supply of tea, coffee, spices, etc. In the same building, our lounge invites you to take a break or socialize. Here you can meet up, find sofas, games, books and tips for excursions. The little ones can spend rainy days in our colorful children's corner. Our seminar room can be hired for courses, workshops and events. The light-flooded room has an exit to the veranda in our back garden. You have a view of our old walnut tree, our pig Jacky and the chickens, there is no more distraction here. Our mini pig, Erna the cat and the chickens look forward to visitors.
