Your holiday flat is situated in a central yet quiet location in the middle of Daun. All important facilities, shops, restaurants, etc. are within walking distance. The holiday flat with 105 sqm of living space is located on the middle floor of the house and is accessed from the garden side, which cannot be seen.The garden with terrace and lawn is framed by a 4-metre high rampart wall, which encloses the Daun castle hill in a semicircle.The Maare-Mosel cycle path is only a few hundred metres away and easily accessible. The house has a spacious double garage with lockable parking for a car and bicycles, as well as its own parking spaces.

The vacation apartment was completed in 2015. It is located on the first floor of a listed farmhouse. It is divided into the following rooms: hallway with wardrobe and full-length mirror, living room with spacious fold-out sofa, modern, technically well-equipped kitchen, bedroom with box-spring bed and recliner for reading and relaxing, and bathroom with comfortable shower, WC and bidet. The living room and kitchen are cleverly connected by exposed half-timbered beams. There is a parking space in the courtyard as well as former farm buildings that provide secure storage for bicycles or motorcycles. The terrace and garden with barbecue are available for exclusive use. Special features: Bakery and butcher's shop are only 2-3 minutes' walk away. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity. The farmstead with farm buildings is ideal for bikers and cyclists. The town of Mendig is 4 km away, Mayen 8 km. Vacation destination Eifel Bell is located at 370 m above sea level in the immediate vicinity of Maria Laach Abbey with Lake Laach. The abbey and lake are easily accessible via hiking trails. A variety of hiking trails (dream trails) also cross the Bell district. Castles (e.g. Genoveva Castle, Bürresheim Castle, Eltz Castle) and the Nürburgring are popular excursion destinations. Cyclists and bikers are discovering the Rhine-Moselle-Ahr region with increasing popularity. The apartment is logistically ideally located for this.

Dear guests, Our house is located in the Schleiden district of Dreiborn on the Dreiborn plateau in the northern Eifel on the edge of the "Eifel National Park". The non-smoking vacation apartment is located on the upper floor, the size is approx. 86 m², divided into 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms and hallway. Natural materials were used in the construction and interior design of the vacation apartment. The floor consists of oiled and waxed solid wood planks, the walls are mostly plastered with colored clay plaster, a small part with lime plaster. Most of the furnishings, including the kitchen, consist of oiled solid wood furniture, and some of the mattresses are natural mattresses made of coconut and natural latex. The surrounding area offers a wide range of leisure activities: extensive hikes directly from Dreiborn or in the surrounding area (e.g. in the High Fens on the Belgian side), water sports on the Rursee (swimming, stand-up paddling, sailing), cycling on many designated cycle routes and visits to places worth seeing, such as the half-timbered town of Monschau. The nearest cities are Aachen (45 km), Cologne and Bonn (approx. 70 km) and Liège in Belgium (approx. 80 km).

We have given our holiday home this name because we enjoy the colourful blossoms of the meadow surrounding the house every year. We are happy to let you share in the natural diversity, which is also framed by the planted enclosure of the property. The detached house offers plenty of space for our guests with its three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a guest toilet as well as a kitchen and a bright living room. The guest WC, kitchen and living room lead off from the central hallway, which provides direct access to the terrace. Garden furniture is available and a marquee protects you from the sun. On the upper floor you will find two bedrooms as well as a bathroom with shower and bathtub. In the basement you will find the third bedroom with its own bathroom. A garage is available for storing motorbikes, bicycles, etc. Your car can be parked on the property.
