Although the apartment is situated in a quiet area, this beautiful and renovated holiday flat offers a fast access to the cities of Luxembourg and Trier. A part from the fully equipped kitchen, the electro grill on the 6 sqm big terrasse presents another possibility to prepare your own meal. The living and dinig room as well as the 2 bedrooms offer enough space for 2 people. The rather small bathroom includes a toilet, a bathtub and a shower.      

Welcome to the village station of the 20th century. The accommodation in the cultural monument "historical station Üxheim-Ahütte" is a museum station that opened in 2023, exactly 50 years after the cessation of railway operations. Here, time has literally stood still, as if the last passenger just departed, the last ticket was sold, and the last cargo was loaded. The station can now be experienced in its original form, just as it was during the days of railway operation. Various guest rooms are available in the former service areas, some with historical furnishings and reconstructed original wall colors. However, they are equipped with the comforts of today: All rooms include a shower/WC (new from 2023), TV, and Wi-Fi. For those who prefer older media, there is also a wealth of railway literature from long-gone railway times. In the former service rooms, the guests' culinary needs are catered to today. The specialty of our station gastronomy is pancakes as well as homemade cakes & tarts. Common areas in the station gastronomy can be made available for guests during operating hours upon request (no private beverages & food allowed. Sale of beverages & food by station staff). As leisure activities, the crime puzzle "The Disappearing Suitcase" and/or a crime role-playing game with dinner can also be booked upon request. Our vacation apartments We renovated the upper floor in 2021 and, in addition to underfloor heating and a walk-in shower, it also has large panoramic skylights to enjoy the unobstructed view of the countryside. To ensure a good climate (even under the roof), no ordinary glass or rock wool was used, but cellulose insulation was blown in for improved sound and heat insulation. The kitchens are also new and equipped with many appliances (see equipment)We have tried to think of everything, e.g. potato peelers for left-handers are also available.For free sparkling drinking water, a soda streamer is available in each of our vacation apartments,which saves you the hassle of lugging around crates and returning deposits. Kitchen and living room In the apartment you will find the open-plan living room with a noble parquet and modern touches, which is directly connected to the rustic and massive kitchen. The spatial connection between the living room and kitchen invites you to a relaxed round in a relaxed atmosphere. Bedroom 1 In the first bedroom you can dream and linger in soft pastel colors. The room is equipped with a quality vinyl floor, with a double bed 180x200cm and a large wardrobe with mirror. It contains a permanently installed safe and storage option for vacuum cleaners, ironing boards and irons. The room also has a TV connection with a small flat screen television. Bedroom 2 Let yourself be enchanted by the furnishings of the second bedroom. The dark double bed 160x200cm made of rattan, the wooden chest of drawers, the many decorative shells and a high-quality vinyl floor let you immerse yourself in an oasis of relaxation. Bathroom The bathroom is decorated in warm colors and has a large bathtub with a shower device. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. Corridor area At the end of the marbled L-shaped corridor you will find an office area with a desk, which can be used especially for business trips. A small minibar with drinks can also be found there.
