You are on vacation in a cozy, friendly furnished vacation apartment (apartment) in the Vulkaneifel (Gesundland region).Enjoy the beautiful landscape for cycling and hiking tours as well as the numerous excursion possibilities in the surrounding area.Our apartments are located in a quiet residential area in the village of Wallscheid, only approx. 6 km from the tourist center of Manderscheid and 5 km from Gillenfeld, where the deepest crater lake (with outdoor pool) north of the Alps is located.Within a radius of 15 km you can reach all the maars of the beautiful Volcanic Eifel, the Moselle is approx. 20 km away.

The panorama apartment in Jünkerath is located on a south-facing slope on the edge of the forest. From the 124 square meter comfort apartment you have a beautiful panoramic view of the wide valley. Separate entrance, covered sun terrace with garden furniture are among the advantages. Jünkerath has an excellent infrastructure with very good shopping facilities and good transport links - railroad connection. It is located in the beautiful landscape of the Vulkaneifel, bordering the "Eifel National Park". There is an iron and railroad museum in the village. The indoor swimming pool with sauna and solarium is in the immediate vicinity of the vacation apartment.A reservoir, 15 minutes' walk away, offers fishing and swimming opportunities. For those with sporting ambitions, the school sports complex, tennis courts and fitness studio are right next door. Beautiful cycling and hiking trails (Kyll-Radweg and Eifelsteig) start from the house.In the immediate vicinity you will find the historic water mill, the Eifelkrimi hiking trail, the Dauner Maare, the Eagle and Wolf Park as well as the Hirsch- and Saupark. Lake Kronenburg near the historic town center of Kronenburg offers sailing and surfing opportunities.

Our cozy bright apartment is on the ground floor and has a separate entrance. There is an open kitchen/living area with a sofa bed, a barrier-free bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed. The terrace is barrier-free and invites you to relax and feel good. A parking space is available free of charge. Located in the beautiful volcanic Eifel, it is an ideal starting point for walks, long hikes or bike tours on the Maare-Moselle cycle path. Ideally located for hikers, cyclists or bikers. The "Eyes of the Eifel", the Holzmaar, Pulvermaar, Schalkenmehrener Maar, Weinfelder Maar and Gemündener Maar are within a radius of approx. 10 km and invite you to walk, swim or go boating. Hiking trails such as the Eifelsteig, Lieserpfad and Heimatspuren can be reached in the immediate vicinity. Day trips to Germany's oldest city, to Trier or to the Moselle, to Koblenz to the border triangle or to the Nürburgring can be reached by car in one to two hours. The motorway junctions Mehren/Vulkaneifel and Manderscheid are only approx. 12 km away. You can reach the train station Wittlich/Wengerohr in approx. 35 km, from here excursions to the Saar loop, to the Moselle or to Cologne are possible with many connections. Shops can be found in Gillenfeld (approx. 5 km) or in Daun (approx. 10 km). Please note that there are no shops or restaurants in the village itself. On request and against payment of costs, we can therefore fill the fridge for you before your arrival. If required, a second small apartment for 1-2 people is available in town and can be arranged. Our holiday flat has been completely renovated. This contains a new bathroom as well as new furniture and the flat is ready for occupancy in October 2020 at the earliest. The flat is part of our one-family house, it is spacious with its 55 sqm and it offers enough space for two people. Our house is the last one in a calm dead-end street and the flat is at ground level with a separate entrance. The parking lot in front of the house is to your disposal. Your holiday flat has a light foyer, a cozy living room with a couch and a dining corner, a separate fully-equipped kitchen, a roomy bedroom with a full-size bed and a bathroom with a shower. Additionally to the flat you find a storage room with a lot of useful devices, for example a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. In front of the house there is a cozy lounge to end your day. You can store your bikes, e-bikes and motorcycles in a lockable garage. You spend your holidays in a calm residential area which is nevertheless close to the centre. The centre of Daun with its restaurants, cafés, cinema and shops can be easily reached by foot in about 10 – 15 minutes. There are two supermarkets, one includes a bakery, not more than 800m away. The playground for kids is close to the flat – about 200m away. We hope for your understanding as smoking and pets are not permitted in our holiday flat.
