The Hürtgenwald, as well as the municipality of the same name, are located on the northern edge of the Eifel and offer a variety of opportunities to spend the most beautiful days of the year there. Our farm is a former full-time farm. We have remodeled the stable and living area and now live here with ten horses, a dog and cats. The Raffelsbrand district is a purely agricultural settlement and has around 180 inhabitants. You can ride for hours right from the farm through varied forests and quiet valleys. The Eifel National Park and the Raffelsbrand high-altitude adventure trail (high ropes course) are on the doorstep, as are the Rursee lake, the beautiful half-timbered town of Monschau and the High Fens.

For example, the Bitburg reservoir, the Eifelpark Wild and leisure park in Gondorf, the Irrel waterfalls as well as the dinosaur park and the Teufelsschlucht nature park centre in Ernzen, Trier - the oldest city in Germany, picturesque Echternach (Luxembourg), the beautiful town of Bernkastel on the Moselle, the Maare lakes near Daun and much more. Beautiful landscapes, lots of nature, a good range of leisure activities and great sights - that's a holiday in the Southern Eifel! The local community of Rittersdorf is located in the Nimstal valley about 3 km north of the district town of Bitburg. A visit to the brewery there is well worth it!

The Pink Sheep has offspring! Located in the quiet, tranquil district of Blankenheim/ Ahrdorf.Since 2020 it is ready, our golden sheep! Vacation apartment Zum Goldenen Schaf:We welcome you with the first apartment of the golden sheep, let us surprise you! In the meantime, the big golden sheep has been followed by 2 more, smaller golden sheep. The main apartment of the golden sheep, however, offers 3 bedrooms, a completely fenced garden at a height of 120cm and a comfortable lounge to lounge around :o)There is also a rustic fireplace room, a large bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. The bedroom on the top floor has an additional small guest WC. This bedroom can only be reached via a steep staircase. The remaining bedrooms and the large bathroom are on the second floor. The staircase to the first floor is wide, easy to walk up and has railings. Everything is designed and furnished with the usual creativity and attention to detail as in the pink sheep, only with even more comfort! You will see that a lot of heart and soul has gone into this project!

Welcome to our hotel and restaurant in Barweiler at the Nürburgring in the beautiful Eifel. Our family business, which is already in the 5th generation with its very personal atmosphere for the well-being of its guests, would like to prepare you nice hours in our bright, friendly and comfortably furnished guest rooms. The guest rooms are equipped with shower / WC, hairdryer, TV, radio, alarm clock and partial balcony. They have a total of 6 single rooms and 22 double and twin-bed (separate beds) rooms. Extra bed in 3 or 4-bed rooms is possible. Standard double rooms are usually located in the historic guesthouse "alte Vogtei Anno 1770" directly across the street or in one of the other neighboring buildings. Wifiis available for free everywhere in the house as well as in the guesthouse "alte Vogtei"!
