The short circular route of the Laufeld nature trail is ideal for a relaxing walk with the whole family. Numerous themed boards along the trail provide clear information about the forest, animals and plants. A forest playground and several rest areas make the trail particularly attractive for families with children.

The Laufeld nature trail is a short, easy circular route that is particularly suitable for families, nature enthusiasts and an informative walk. Along the way, numerous themed boards accompany visitors and provide basic knowledge about the forest, animals and plants. Topics such as tree species, forest animals, dead wood or wild fruits and leaves are clearly explained and invite you to take a closer look.

The circular trail runs mainly on wide forest paths and offers several rest stops. A forest playground at the edge of the path makes the route particularly attractive for families with children and provides additional variety during the walk.

Further on, you pass a newly created retention area in the forest. This was created as part of a subsidized water retention measure and also serves to expand an existing wetland area. The aim is to develop a near-natural habitat here again in the short to medium term. The area is currently still under construction.

At the end of the circular trail, several large boards provide information about the varied history of Laufeld and add an additional informative aspect to the nature trail.
