Before you set out…

From time to time, sections of the trail may need to be rerouted or closed temporarily. Just check www.gesundland-vulkaneifel.de/info/wege-info/.

The Wilden Endert Valley will completely captivate you on this hike from the “Napoleonbrücke” hiking parking lot all the way to Cochem.

Slate cliffs, moss-covered slopes, and narrow trails characterize this unspoiled river valley. The trail is lined with numerous old mills and small bridges. When you arrive in Cochem, you’ll find charming little cafés and the town’s landmark—the Cochem Reichsburg.

Highlights along the way:

  • Numerous old mills
  • Cochem Imperial Castle
