From the old town of Nideggen to the Börde around Nideggen Berg

The KB 3 Arnica Route circular trail combines nature and culture on the route across the border between Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia from Kerschenbach to Kronenburg.

The Nettersheimer Hof was built in 1857 and has been owned by the Feinen family since 1972. Adjacent to the cosy beer garden is the agricultural museum, which can be visited free of charge. Once a year, the "cinema barn" also opens for a few weekends. A projectionist operates the old projector. The monotonous rattling creates a cosy atmosphere in the set-up sofa rows.

The nature reserve Ginsterheiden in the Irsental provides a compressed nature experience precisely because of its small area.

From the sports field in Berg, we set off on our Börde hike around Nideggen Berg.

Boos was first mentioned in 1238. Today, the village with 610 inhabitants enjoys an excellent reputation as a popular hiking destination. Special highlights are the nature reserve "Booser Doppelmaar", which as a "Vulkanparkstation" is home to a unique flora and fauna and the "Booser Eifelturm" (currently locked), which offers fantastic views since 2003.
