Freibad Heimbach

The heated outdoor pool in the town of Heimbach is located directly on the Rur in the Eifel National Park. Family-friendly, it offers its visitors a wide range of activities with a water temperature of 24°C and spacious outdoor facilities. Whether you want to relax on the sunbathing lawns, swim laps in the 25 x 12.5 m swimmer's pool with diving area or play beach volleyball and table tennis with friends, there's plenty on offer here! In the paddling pool, a splash shower and a fun fountain ensure bathing fun and cooling off with water depths of 15-45 cm in three pools. The 678 m² kidney-shaped non-swimmers' area is a little more turbulent. The places on the small island are very popular here. Footballs, volleyballs, table tennis balls, table tennis bats and diving rings can be borrowed free of charge from the outdoor pool. In addition to swimwear, water toys etc. can also be purchased in the swimwear store. A snack bar with a large selection of food and drinks provides refreshments. The site is barrier-free.
