At the Eifel National Park Center at Vogelsang IP, you can experience nature with all your senses. In the accessible exhibition “Wildnis(t)räume,” spread over approximately 2,000 m², you’ll immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the Eifel National Park and learn how nature is reclaiming its space.

At interactive stations, you’re encouraged to touch, try things out, and discover. Explore the habitat of a beech forest, discover fascinating aquatic worlds, and experience the national park’s biodiversity from unusual perspectives. Tactile models, plant scents, and animal pelts make the exhibition a special experience even for people with visual impairments.

The exhibition is designed to be accessible and features a wayfinding system in raised lettering and Braille. The content is available in German, English, French, Dutch, and easy-to-read language, among other languages. Regular guided tours and ranger-led hikes offer you further exciting insights into the wilderness of the national park.

From the terrace of the visitor center, you can also enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the national park’s forests, valleys, and lakes. The Eifelsteig trail passes right by the National Park Center—making it easy to combine your visit with a hike.

The Eifelsteig long-distance hiking trailpasses by Vogelsang IP and the Eifel National Park Center on Stage 4 (Einruhr – Gemünd).

    Observatorium Hoher List
