When the paddle glides through the water, the pedal boat sets course and the SUP board floats calmly on the glistening surface, a day on Lake Rursee begins. Nestled in the gentle heights of the Eifel National Park, the lake offers a unique combination of relaxed natural scenery and active water adventures.

Whether canoeing silently through enchanted bays, stand-up paddling with views of wooded slopes or leisurely pedal boating across the water - it's not the speed that counts here, but the moment. Numerous rental stations in Rurberg, Woffelsbach and Einruhr make it easy to get started.


Dive in and recharge your batteries - bathing spots around the Rursee lake

Cool drops on sun-warmed skin, a dip in the glistening water - at Lake Rursee you will find peace, refreshment and a real experience of nature. The bathing spots around the Rursee are located in the middle of the Eifel National Park: chlorine-free, quiet, nestled in the forest and vastness.

At Eiserbachsee you can relax on a shady meadow, in Woffelsbach the bathing platform far from the shore beckons. At the Einruhr nature adventure pool, brave souls can jump off the board while children splash around safely. And at Sonnenstrand Eschauel, you can switch between the sandy beach, beach club and stand-up paddle.
