Absolutely quiet location in the idyllic Oberlützingen district of Burgbrohl (Rhineland-Palatinate, Ahrweiler district): Surrounded by nature, directly on hiking and walking trails of the Brohltal/Laacher See volcano park, the traffic-calmed Südstraße is located in a peaceful residential area of the small village. The design of the "Himmel un Ääd" vacation apartment is based on the colors of nature (Himmel = tree, apples & Ääd = earth, potatoes) and the unity with the region. At the same time, its color scheme emphasizes the connection with more southern and Mediterranean regions. Spacious, bright entrance area with wardrobe, bench, full-length mirror and small secretary, large living/dining room in beige and brown tones. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed (160 x 200 cm), 3 armchairs, an extendable solid wood dining table and 5 chairs (additional chairs in the kitchen). A 55-inch TV with satellite TV and Smart TV invites you to enjoy a movie night, while the Bluetooth/CD stereo system allows you to listen to your favorite music. Board games and books provide further entertainment. The large "South Tyrol" bedroom is decorated in a calming green and offers a double bed with a width of 180 cm, which is equipped with a comfortable mattress (and soft topper). An antique wooden wardrobe and a small chest of drawers offer plenty of storage space. The colorful "Burano" bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200 cm), which can also be used as day beds. A high wardrobe and a chest of drawers offer space to store luggage. An extra bed (approx. 80 x 190 cm) can be added to the sofa bed in the living room if required. A children's travel cot is available. In the bedrooms you will also find a clock radio and a CD player-radio. The cordless telephone in the apartment can be used free of charge for unlimited calls to the German landline network. The balcony with seating area, table and parasol can be accessed from both the kitchen and the living/dining room. Facing south-west, the view from there is of trees and gardens of the surrounding detached houses all around. Due to the altitude of the location, you can see the hilly landscape of the volcano park in the distance. Bright bathroom with window; toilet, washbasin, cabinet, shower and separate bathtub as well as basic amenities (shampoo, shower gel, bath foam, soap, toilet paper). There is also a guest WC with hand basin in the apartment. Towels and bed linen are of course provided. Fully equipped fitted kitchen in café tones: dishwasher, electric oven, ceramic hob and extractor hood (1 level), microwave, kettle, mixer, blender, coffee machine, Nespresso machine (without capsules), fridge, dining table with 4 chairs, high chair (on request) and a basic supply of food (coffee, tea, cocoa, spices, oil, vinegar, kitchen towels, household paper) are also available to guests. Private parking space right next to the house. All rooms can be completely darkened (roller shutters). The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a quiet 4-family house with only two floors and is equipped with underfloor heating. Children are welcome, pets are allowed after registration and for a fee. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony. Communication with the hosts is possible in German, English, Italian and French. All stores for daily needs and restaurants in the main town of Burgbrohl (3 minutes by car) and the surrounding villages of Niederzissen and Brohl-Lützing. The next largest selection of shops and restaurants can be found in Bad Breisig am Rhein (10 minutes by car). Here you also have a tranquil Rhine promenade to stroll along. The small towns of Andernach, Sinzig and Remagen on the Rhine, Mayen on the edge of the Volcanic Eifel and the district town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler on the Ahr (currently being rebuilt after the devastating flood in July 2021) are also just a stone's throw away. One of the most highly recommended bakeries in the Brohl Valley and a butcher's shop that still produces its own meat are located in the neighboring village of Niederlützingen (Brohl-Lützing II - 2 km) on the same hill. The Burgbrohl art pavilion is only 400 meters away (art in rural areas, meeting place with courses - including vacation camps for children - and events). Lake Laach and the Benedictine Abbey of Maria Laach: 10 km away. Andernach/Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler each 20 minutes by car. Koblenz/Bonn 30 minutes by car.
