Our Vulkaneifel holiday flats on the Felsenpfad are located on the outskirts of the lively fountain town of Gerolstein, in the heart of the wild and romantic Vulkaneifel. It is only a few metres from our front door to the start of the Gerolstein Rock Trail. Winding paths, forest and unspoilt nature guarantee relaxation and a break from everyday life. Around 500 m along hidden footpaths and lovingly planted allotments, the trail leads down to the centre of Gerolstein. Here, in addition to the railway station with excellent connections to Cologne and Trier, you will find a wide range of restaurants, owner-managed retail outlets and lovely cafés. Supermarkets with a well-stocked range of regional products can be reached either on foot in around 10 minutes or by car. Gerolstein is world-famous for its unique and original mineral water. In addition to a free guided tour of the Gerolsteiner Brunnen GmbH & Co. KG visitor centre, the small, lively Eifel town has numerous interesting, sometimes spectacular sights that you should explore during your stay here.

The Schneifel runs northeast from Brandscheid near Prüm to Ormont along the border with Belgium.Another ski area is located near the town of Prüm in the "Wolfsschlucht" gorge. Hiking trails open up the landscape and lead to Eifel views, for example. The "Prümer Kalkmulde" and the "Schönecker Schweiz" are a treasure trove of fossils. The "Man and Nature" information center has a fossil exhibition.Our cycle path even takes you across the border to Belgium. You can also go inline skating here. Our hiking trails also invite you to go hiking or just for a walk. Afterwards, our beautiful garden terrace invites you to relax. We offer you hands-on farming. Who does agriculture serve? - How does the grain of wheat get into the ground? - What do the animals eat? - Where does the straw come from? - How does grass become hay? - How is a calf born? Where do chickens lay their eggs? What will it be like when I get to ride on the tractor with the farmer? - How do you clean a horse? - We will show you all these things and much, much more on our farm. Get to know life on our farm. A life that is dependent on wind and weather - sun and rain - a life "in and with nature"! On our family-friendly farm in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village you will find species-appropriate animal husbandry with suckler cows and calves, young cattle, the domestic pig Ferdinand, chickens, rabbits, cats and guinea pigs. We also have our daughter's horses. We run an extensive grassland farm with grain cultivation.Not only a farm experience - also an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours and day trips.

Here you are a guest at one of the most idyllic campsites in the Eifel, which is classified with 5 stars by the German Tourism Association. The bungalows are built in terraces on a slope right next to the forest. They have a magnificent view of the beautiful Prümtal valley and the town of Waxweiler, which is only a 6-minute walk away. 97 generously parcelled pitches (80 to 120 m²) with electricity connections are available at our campsite. Many pitches are located directly on the Prüm river. The holiday complex is the starting point for interesting excursions to Belgium and Luxembourg. You can also go hiking or cycling for hours. Experience a cosy holiday in beautiful natural surroundings in the Southern Eifel Nature Park. Here you will find pure relaxation - because you are a guest in one of the most idyllic holiday parks in the Eifel with bungalows and a campsite. The outdoor pool is right next to the holiday park and admission is free for our guests.
