The Vennlandhof - a cultural monument with comfort & character
The Vennlandhof is a lovingly restored half-timbered house dating back to 1750 - a real gem with rarity value. Surrounded by an imposing windbreak hedge that has grown over generations and a spacious 4,000 m² property with old fruit trees, the farm exudes tranquillity and originality. The listed property has shaped the image of the region around the High Fens for almost 300 years and has been immortalized many times in illustrated books, calendars and television productions.
The careful renovation focused on sustainability, authenticity and well-being. Only ecological building materials such as clay, softwood insulation, lime plaster and solid wood were used. Modern technology - wall heating, high-quality sanitary system with gas condensing technology, two televisions, Wi-Fi, washing machine and dryer - was integrated stylishly and unobtrusively.
The house offers space for up to four people. Two individually designed bedrooms, each with its own shower room and WC, ensure privacy. One of the bedrooms is designed as a spacious studio with a free-standing spa bath. The stylish living room with TV and an open loggia with seating area and additional TV invite you to linger. In the well-equipped kitchen you will find everything you need for a flexible and independent stay. A separate guest WC rounds off the floor plan.
The Vennlandhof is a retreat for anyone looking for something special - with a sense of aesthetics, culture and slowing down. Ideal for couples, friends or families who appreciate peace, nature and comfort in equal measure.
A warm welcome!
