The vacation home is situated in a quiet, idyllic location next to a farm. Relax in the conservatory, the garden or the sunbathing lawn, where lots of play opportunities await your children. A barbecue facility is also available. Explore the Eifel landscape on relaxing walks, long hikes or bike tours - the vacation home is the ideal starting point. Your children can also run and play safely in the spacious outdoor area of the house.

Since 1989, we have been running our hotel as a family business, which is located in the Birgel district of Düren in the immediate vicinity of the B399 federal highway. Originally a "genuine Düren brewery", we have transformed it into a modern hotel with sophisticated gastronomy in recent years. Our hotel guests can expect 53 bright, modern and well-equipped rooms. The new building, completed in 2017, also offers an inviting breakfast room with that certain something, a wellness area with Finnish sauna and bio-sauna, a large fitness room with state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment, mountain bike rental for exploring the beautiful Eifel, horse boxes and riding arena for trail riders. And all this in an enchanting ambience. Our restaurant offers hot meals 365 days a year from 11.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. and rooms for groups of up to 180 people - ideal for parties, celebrations and conferences. Our vacation home (you can find the booking plan on the website www.eifelhaus-brenk.de) is located on the edge of the district of Dahlem-Baasem and offers a fantastic view of the hilly Eifel landscape with meadows and pastures. Shopping facilities and restaurants can be found in the nearby village of Stadtkyll as well as in the romantic village of Kronenburg. With its medieval gates, pretty old houses, the ring wall, the old administration building and the castle, the old town center is a special tourist attraction. The beautifully situated Kronenburg reservoir is approx. 3 km away and offers opportunities for swimming at the beach and boating. The small Eifel village of Baasem in the German-Belgian Nature Park looks back on more than 1000 years of history. The village was first mentioned in a document in 867 as "Basenheim". The local church is well worth a visit; around 1510, the existing single-nave hall church was extended to become the two-nave late Gothic hall church that exists today.

Dear guests, you will find our holiday apartment in the middle of the Eifel in the center of Nettersheim - directly on the Eifelsteig. It was badly affected by the flood in summer 2021, like many other houses in Urft, Erft and in the Ahr valley. In the two years that followed, it was painstakingly rebuilt with great attention to detail. Our holiday apartment "a Bäckesch 17" can accommodate up to 6 people and includes a fully furnished and equipped apartment including a washing machine, parking space and WiFi.
