The Mestrenger Mühle is a three-cornered mill with a water wheel, some of which is over 400 years old. Apart from the weekends, you rarely hear more than the splashing of the Kall and the sounds of the forest at this place and can watch a clear starry sky at night. We will be offering two vacation apartments here from 2026.

Genusswerk Eifel - The new boutique hotel combines indulgence and luxurious suites with the beautiful EIFEL landscape. Our small hotel rightly bears the name Genusswerk: it is quietly located in the middle of nature in the Gaytal valley, just a short hike away from Vianden in Luxembourg with its famous château. The modern and transparent architecture of the Genusswerk opens up wonderful panoramic views of the wide, green hilly landscape of the Southern Eifel Nature Park. All ten suites are individually furnished to a very high standard. Some even have a private whirlpool. The Genusswerk's sunny terrace is the ideal place to relax and take in the idyllic surroundings undisturbed. Breakfast at the Genusswerk is delicious and typical of the Eifel region and is served as an individual table breakfast. The day doesn't start with queuing at the buffet, but with the comfort of being looked after personally and in a friendly manner. Situated on a hill in the Kyll valley near the district town of Bitburg, Metterich offers attractive leisure opportunities and the beauty of the intact natural and cultural landscape invites you to linger. Our modern vacation apartment is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Metterich. Children are welcome here. They have plenty of opportunity to let off steam in the natural playground directly opposite our vacation apartment. In our lovely village store you can get fresh bread rolls and all other daily necessities every day. In the Landgasthof Stein-Reiter you can indulge in home-style cooking and enjoy a freshly tapped Bitburger Pils. The Kylltal cycle path runs through our district in an idyllic river landscape, which is connected to the Moselle cycle path, among others. The Southern Eifel is a versatile hiking landscape. A network of hiking trails delights hikers time and time again.
