Our house is sunny and quietly situated directly at the edge of the forest with a fanastic view of Bad Bertrich and the Ueßbach valley. A large lawn for sunbathing is located at the house.

Giescheid is a small, tranquil village at 652 m above sea level with about 100 inhabitants in the municipality of Hellenthal. The village is characterised by idyllic tranquillity, without traffic noise, as no through road leads through the village. However, the neighbouring village of Rescheid (approx. 1 km) with its inn and bakery and the main town of Hellenthal (approx. 6 km) can be reached in a few minutes. The holiday flat (non-smoking flat)is located on the first floor and offers with approx. 70 sqm enough space for up to four persons.It consists of a living room, kitchen, shower/WC, hallway and two bedrooms (double rooms). One bedroom is a passage room. Our guest rooms have shower/WC and SAT-TV.Start your holiday day in the Eifel National Park with a hearty breakfast in our comfortably furnished lounge.Our rooms are non-smoking rooms. 

In the youth hostel Hellenthal you can choose between 9 family rooms, apartments with 3 and 2-bed rooms and bathroom, vacation home for 6 persons with 4-bed room, double room, living/bedroom with sofa bed for 2 persons, kitchen, bathroom, TV and BlueRayPlayer.Bed linen included. Meals can be booked in the YH.All rooms with washing facilities, some with shower. Covered high ropes course, 7 lounges and dining rooms, large outdoor area. Deep in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel, in a dreamy valley, lies a small village called Schutz. Our vacation home is located at the western end of this village. The large property invites you to barbecue, romp around and have fun. A private adventure tour through the Wallmerbach is also fun for the whole family. The house has a living space of approx. 150m² and with its 3 bedrooms offers space for a maximum of 6 people. Kitchen, dining room, living room and bathrooms are optimally equipped. The house offers a fireplace where you can relax with your favorite drink in the evening, a large terrace and a spacious property, ideal for families or smaller groups. There are several hiking trails nearby and a small mountain with a beautiful view over the entire area. In the next bigger town Daun, you will find some shopping facilities, a really great movie theater, as well as the "Wild und Erlebnispark Daun". The volcanic Eifel offers you a wide range of activities, such as cave tours, cycling and hiking trails, fishing and swimming spots, maars, a geyser, incredibly beautiful castles and old fortresses and knight games, as well as great events such as the Daun funfair or the Eifel rally and much much more.
