This four-star holiday home is located in the heart of the beautiful Vulkaneifel, on the outskirts of Oberscheidweiler. The proximity to the Moselle, Cochem, Bernkastel-Kues and Trier, as well as the Eifelmaare in the immediate vicinity, form an ideal starting point for all kinds of activities and sights. The quiet location, large, fenced property, in the middle of nature, are also ideal for switching off, just let your mind wander and escape the stress of everyday life. The holiday home can be booked as a whole for larger groups / families or, of course, apartments individually. Apartment A (1st floor) is 80 m² in size and is equipped with a large kitchen-dining area, living room, bathroom with shower and toilet, and 2 bedrooms with double beds (180x200 and 160x200 mm), as well as a balcony with garden furniture. Apartment B (ground floor, barrier-free) is 57 m² and is also suitable for wheelchair users. The apartment has a kitchen and living area, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside there is a seating area with garden furniture with a direct view and access to the green onto the large meadow. Apartment C (ground floor, barrier-free) is 150 m². There is a kitchen area with dining area, living room with extendable dining area, for example. B. for larger groups, 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, each with shower and toilet. And a balcony with direct access via a few steps to the large meadow. Apartment D (1st floor) is 75 m² and is equipped with a kitchen, dining and living area, double bedroom, bathroom with shower and toilet, and a balcony with garden furniture. Baby cot and chair are available on request. Each apartment has a sofa bed in the living area, and additional beds (on request) can be used as additional sleeping facilities. The cozy guesthouse in the German-Luxembourgish Nature Park is wonderfully situated on a quiet south-facing slope above the village and yet centrally located. The quaint building from the 16th century originally served as a sexton's yard and village school. We acquired the house in April 2021 and spent more than 1.5 years extensively renovating, refurbishing and modernizing it in close coordination with the monument authority, so that today you can enjoy modern living comfort in a historic ambience.

In the midst of beautifully fragrant forests, at an elevation of nearly 700 meters, lies our family-run business. Hospitality and friendliness have been our top priority for generations.Nearby, the Ravel cycle path (maximum incline of 2%), connected to the Kyll cycle path, reveals idyllic panoramas and the charm of historical borderland. By the way, the Kyll springs from our wine cellar!   We rent 2 e-bikes on-site; please feel free to contact us if you're interested. Mountain bikers also get their fill with a varied network of trails spanning 680 km. Even the SONEMAN ARDUENNA can be tackled. Endless hikes, practically organized with a node system, through woods and meadows offer pure relaxation. The lady of the house herself prepares numerous regional, traditional, and seasonal specialties with great love and care that you can enjoy in our recently renovated restaurant. In the café or the cozy beer garden, there are many Belgian beers to discover.Our wine cellar offers a selection of exquisite regional and international wines. Our website also offers many excursion destinations in our region. If the snow conditions allow, then the cross-country ski rental is located directly behind the hotel. Trails of 2-4-8 and 12 km start directly across the street. There is also a downhill ski slope a few kilometers away at the Weißen Stein.
