We have given our holiday home this name because we enjoy the colourful blossoms of the meadow surrounding the house every year. We are happy to let you share in the natural diversity, which is also framed by the planted enclosure of the property. The detached house offers plenty of space for our guests with its three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a guest toilet as well as a kitchen and a bright living room. The guest WC, kitchen and living room lead off from the central hallway, which provides direct access to the terrace. Garden furniture is available and a marquee protects you from the sun. On the upper floor you will find two bedrooms as well as a bathroom with shower and bathtub. In the basement you will find the third bedroom with its own bathroom. A garage is available for storing motorbikes, bicycles, etc. Your car can be parked on the property. You can park your car on the property.Let your legs and soul dangle, you will enjoy the fresh air, the silence and the uniqueness of the Eifel landscape. Start directly your hiking and cycling tours, as well as excursions in the surroundings in front of the front door, or relax in peace on the terrace.

Our guesthouse can be found in the idyllic village called Kottenborn, far away from transit traffic. It is located in the heart of the Eifel, surrounded by green forests, very close to the Nürburgring (approx. 5km). The special location of our guesthouse offers a lot of activities for the whole family. When hiking through the surrounding landscape you can see different local animals. For relaxation, providing you with deck chairs is a matter of course. Shelters are available for bicycles and bikes. Our partly roofed outdoor area is perfect to end a sunny day with a cosy get-together (drinks self-service). Our facilities also include a barbecue area with a permanently installed swivel grill. We would be pleased to arrange a barbecue evening for you (on advance booking for 8 persons or more). Hint: There is a small mixed-breed dog living in our house.

Our Gustav holiday home, located on the outskirts of Saxler and in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, offers you a beautiful and pleasant holiday near the Mürmes nature reserve. You have a living room with pellet stove and TV, a kitchen with kitchenette and dining area, 2 bedrooms with double bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a terrace and a parking space for your vehicle. The holiday home is suitable for allergy sufferers. We will be happy to help you organize your booking program and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Shops, doctors, pharmacies and restaurants are in the neighboring town of Gillenfeld, two kilometers away. Nearby are the well-known Dauner Maare (Gillenfeld, Schalkenmehren, Meerfeld, Immerath, near Eckfeld) and the associated hiking and biking trails, which can be easily and quickly reached from the holiday home. Furthermore, 10.5 km away is the Daun-Senheld airfield, which offers sightseeing flights over the Maare. The Manderscheider Burgen (11 km away) are also a worth seeing excursion destination in the Vulkaneifel.
