Situated on a hill in the Kyll valley near the district town of Bitburg, Metterich offers attractive leisure opportunities and the beauty of the intact natural and cultural landscape invites you to linger. Our modern vacation apartment is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Metterich. Children are welcome here. They have plenty of opportunity to let off steam in the natural playground directly opposite our vacation apartment. In our lovely village store you can get fresh bread rolls and all other daily necessities every day. In the Landgasthof Stein-Reiter you can indulge in home-style cooking and enjoy a freshly tapped Bitburger Pils. The Kylltal cycle path runs through our district in an idyllic river landscape, which is connected to the Moselle cycle path, among others. The Southern Eifel is a versatile hiking landscape. A network of hiking trails delights hikers time and time again.

Our house has 120 square meters. 1 double room with passage to a single room (mainly for children of the family to use, ). 1 single room, 1 double room with 2 single beds, living room, kitchen with dining area and storage room, spacious bathroom. Towels/dish towels and bed linen are provided. Max. 6 people.

The ‘Cinema Forst holiday flat’, which was completely renovated in 2024, has approx. 105m² of living space and a garden of around 360m² with barbecue facilities and an outdoor shower for private use. A dedicated home cinema with a 108-inch screen and powerful sound system, as well as a private library with over 1000 books, make for an exceptional holiday. Underfloor heating, bathtub, walk-in shower and a starry sky in the bedroom make dreams come true.

The Gasthaus Weiler is located in scenic surroundings in the heart of the Vulkaneifel at the foot of the Mosenberg and is an ideal starting point for many interesting hiking and cycling tours (e.g. VulkaMaar-Pfad (Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2021), Geo-Route, Vulkanbike Trailpark, Eifelsteig, Maare-Mosel-Radweg etc.).
