This is an new cozy apartment, renovated in 2020. It is located on the outskirts of Altrich and surrounded by lots of nature. 

Altrich ist located in the centre of the Mosel, Eifel and Hunsrück. It is the perfect starting point for your hiking and riding adventures on the Maare-Mosel-Radweg, the Lieserpfad or the Eifel- and Moselsteig. The city Wittlich in only 4 kms away and offers all kind of supermarkets.

Visit some of the tourist attractions like the Porta Nigra in Trier, the vulcanic lakes (Maare) in the Eifel or the old historic villages on the Mosel River. Here you can find the old city of Bernkastel-Kues, the Reichsburg (castle) in Cochem, a rebuild roman wine boat in Neumagen-Drohn or the ruins of the castle in Manderscheid.

    New: ---- Now with fiber optic connection ---- Our lovingly and comfortably furnished holiday flat for up to five people is located in the heart of Kommern. It was completely renovated in 2021 and due to its location it is an ideal starting point, both for the things of daily life, as well as for exploring the beautiful Voreifel. Our modernly furnished holiday flat has two bedrooms, a living room with dining area, a kitchen, a bathroom (shower/ WC) and next to it a separate guest WC. In the large bedroom there is a double bed and a sleeping couch, in the other room two single beds. Thus, there is room for a maximum of five people in the flat. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer combination, etc. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a separate guest toilet. The flat is on the ground floor and has a terrace with lawn on the south side of the house, which creates a bright and friendly atmosphere in the rooms and invites you to eat, drink and linger. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted in the flat. Bicycles/e-bikes that you bring with you can be parked in the garage. In addition, a bicycle is available for you to fetch your daily bread rolls or for cycling in the relaxing Eifel region.     You live with us in the approx. 80m² large renovated apartment in our detached house in Gillenfeld, which is located directly on the outskirts of the village in the immediate vicinity of the forest. The Pulvermaar and Holzmaar are only a few minutes' drive away. You can also quickly reach the Maare-Moselle cycle path or popular hiking routes. It offers space for up to 6 people. Our apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob/oven, fridge and freezer compartment, dishwasher. From the cozy living/dining room with TV, sofa bed and fireplace you have direct access to the terrace. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, kitchen towels and the final cleaning are included in the rental price.

    For cycling and hiking enthusiasts, the apartment is an ideal starting point for many hiking and cycling tours through beautiful Eifel landscapes. Circular hiking trails in the immediate vicinity from 6 to 22 km can be found under Wanderwelt-Nordeifel/Eifelschleifen and Wanderwelt-Nordeifel/Eifelspuren. 4 stages of the Eifelsteig are in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Cyclists will find 16 themed circular tours in the Eifel cycle loops to explore the North Eifel by bike. With the new cycle junction system, you can plan your own tours. Further information can be found on the homepage of Nordeifel Tourismus GmbH and in the tour planner of Outdooractive.Not far away runs the Kyllrad, Ahrrad, Erft cycle path and the Eifel Heights Route. The Eifel National Park and the nearby Olef, Urft and Rur dams invite you to take a trip. It is not far to the romantic Ahr valley or to the pretty towns of Bad Münstereifel and Monschau. Sports and leisure facilities, such as a go-kart track in Schmidtheim (8km), a gyrofoil flight on the Dahlemer Binz (8km), climbing facility on Lake Kronenburg (14 km), a game reserve with a bird of prey station in Hellenthal are not far away.
