The Hotel Hilgers is located in the prestigious district of Gürzenich, near the Voreifel behind Düren, just 5 minutes from the Düren Golf Club and the Gürzenich bathing lake in the border triangle between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Our hotel is located in a suburb of Düren about 15 minutes away from the highway A4 between Cologne and Aachen, exit Düren and is therefore particularly suitable for exploration tours through the German-Belgian Nature Park which begins directly behind it. The hotel has 6 individually furnished rooms with TV and 4 spacious multi-bed rooms with upscale furnishings. Just a 5-minute walk away, you can sample traditional local dishes in the nearby restaurant. Discover the many cycling and hiking trails in the area or take a walk along the Obermaubach reservoir, 10 minutes away, or the Rursee lake, which is known as the pearl of the Eifel due to its beauty and unique valley location. Hike along the Way of St. James from Düren to Schevenhütte or enjoy the 18-hole Düren golf course in the immediate vicinity to brush up on your handicap. Take advantage of the hotel's wonderful location and discover the city's shopping and leisure facilities. Of the local sights, the historic Leopold Hoesch Museum and adjoining paper museum are particularly recommended. 25 castles and just as many monasteries and churches as well as the world-famous Heinrich Böll House in Langenbroich are further attractions in the surrounding area. Beautiful camping-site for families and people keen on sports, not far from the "Mullerthal" and close to the Sauer barrier lake in Rosport. Due to its location, Rosport is perfect for bicycle or hiking tours. You can rent bikes, canoes and kajaks right at the camping site. Enjoy some water ski or do Stand Up Paddling on the Sauer. If you just want to enjoy the good weather, you can take a swim in the public swimming pool right next to the camping site.Mobile Homes:If you don`t own a camping car or a tent, you can also rent our comfortable mobile homes! They consist of two separate bedrooms for four guests and an open living and cooking area. (Please bring your own bedding) Pets are not allowed. Pods:These comfortable small wooden huts offer place for two people. They consist of a small sitting area and a bedroom.  (Please bring your own bedding) Pets are not allowed. Campsites:Campground right under beautiful trees, perfect to relax. Campsites for cars: All camp sites for cars have a ground area of 100 m². You can book a camping site right next to the water with a beautiful view on the Sauer. Please make your reservation in advance.

Our campsite is centrally located in the German Eifel between Trier (Germany) and Echternach (Luxembourg). A unique place, near beautiful nature and picturesque places.Our campsite has large plots along the Sauer and is equipped with all conveniences. There is a separate field for tents.
