Our house is situated at the outskirts of the small village Roth in natural surroundings. You reach the forest in 2 min. and the section "Hillesheim-Gerolstein" of one of Germany's top hiking trails, the "Eifelsteig", runs along the house. We renovated the basement of our house in 2014/15 and established the new holiday flat "Wald und Wiese" ("Forest and Field"). It is accessible from ground level and convenient for challenged people.

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Dorsel. Enjoy the view of the Hohe Acht and on the Aremberg. Discover and experience the region around Dorsel on several hiking trails or the Ahrradweg ( Cycle route) . The legendary circuit of Nürburgring is located about 15 km from Dorsel away.

Welcome to the log cabin vacation park in the Eifel village of Eisenschmitt on the Salm. Guests seeking peace and quiet and nature-loving guests will get their money's worth here. There are many leisure activities in the immediate vicinity. Located close to the forest, you can go on many beautiful hikes and then end the day in the Köhlerstube with a delicious meal and a freshly tapped Pilsner. In our rustic Köhlerkate there is a barbecue facility for guests. The vacation resort is ideal for families with children. A children's playground and plenty of green space to run around in round off the complex.

The Hotel Hilgers is located in the prestigious district of Gürzenich, near the Voreifel behind Düren, just 5 minutes from the Düren Golf Club and the Gürzenich bathing lake in the border triangle between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Our hotel is located in a suburb of Düren about 15 minutes away from the highway A4 between Cologne and Aachen, exit Düren and is therefore particularly suitable for exploration tours through the German-Belgian Nature Park which begins directly behind it. The hotel has 6 individually furnished rooms with TV and 4 spacious multi-bed rooms with upscale furnishings. Just a 5-minute walk away, you can sample traditional local dishes in the nearby restaurant. Discover the many cycling and hiking trails in the area or take a walk along the Obermaubach reservoir, 10 minutes away, or the Rursee lake, which is known as the pearl of the Eifel due to its beauty and unique valley location. Hike along the Way of St. James from Düren to Schevenhütte or enjoy the 18-hole Düren golf course in the immediate vicinity to brush up on your handicap. Take advantage of the hotel's wonderful location and discover the city's shopping and leisure facilities. Of the local sights, the historic Leopold Hoesch Museum and adjoining paper museum are particularly recommended. 25 castles and just as many monasteries and churches as well as the world-famous Heinrich Böll House in Langenbroich are further attractions in the surrounding area. Visit the Annakirmes fair in the last week of July and take a day trip to the famous Nürburgring or Spa Francorchamps. Michael Schumacher's home town is only 30 minutes away by car.
