Hotel-Restaurant Hollerather Hof is located at approximately 600 meters above sea level in the small town of Hollerath in the municipality Hellenthal. The hotel is situated between the Eifel National Park and the German-Belgian Nature Park Hohes Venn. You can access the woods directly from the hotel backyard. The unique landscape has a great variety. Rivers, streams, lakes and reservoirs, the colorful variety of plants and open and forested mountains and valleys.Every year thousands of tourists visit the Eifel region to enjoy nature. The area is very popular, especially with walkers and cyclists, but also with motorcyclists. Besides the natural beauty this last category of visitors especially enjoys the many hairpin bends in the area.In winter the hotel is also worth a visit. At 100 meters from the hotel you'll find a cross country trail that leads you through the forest. Besides cross-country you can also go skiing and tobogganing. Across the valley, at about 150 meters from the hotel, lies a special toboggan lift and toboggan run.A little further on in Udenbreth (approx. 2 km) is a larger ski area called Skiarena Weisser Stein.
