A learning and event venue that sets entirely new standards opened in spring 2020 at the popular location of the old youth hostel Schleiden-Gemünd. Nestled in a valley rich in forest and water, in the Eifel National Park, the building with its impressive wooden façade and large transparent window areas fits perfectly into the surrounding nature. The youth hostel is one of the certified national park hosts and is thus the ideal base for numerous outdoor activities. School classes not only learn a lot about the Eifel National Park and its animal and plant life in Gemünd Vogelsang, but they also benefit from the proximity to the "International Place Vogelsang". The 100-hectare site of the former NS-Ordensburg Vogelsang is now a modern extracurricular learning and cultural event venue. Therefore, cooperation with the "International Place Vogelsang" for school trip offers is even stronger than before. Program offerings around the themes of tolerance, respect, and prevention are supplemented by historically political programs and components. Choirs, music, and conference groups appreciate exclusive work opportunities with nature-oriented after-work experiences at the youth hostel Gemünd Vogelsang. The Elbershof is a historic property from the year 1778 in the heart of Monschau. The building combines history with modern comfort and offers 13 stylish apartments. All apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living areas, and comfortable bedrooms.

The newly furnished, well-insulated attic flat is close to the village centre and easily accessible by car. Our farmhouse was built (ANNO - 1821 - C - Mannstein) in the typical Trier country house style.In front of the separate (former barn door) house entrance there is sufficient parking space. To the side of our house is a beautiful meadow with trees and gardens. With a direct connection to the Maare-Mosel cycle path and the Lieser valley, our place is an ideal starting point for fantastic cycling and hiking tours. Excursion destinations in our vicinity are the Manderscheider castles, the Himmerod Abbey as well as the Eifel maars and the Moselle valley.
