Holidays to feel good in harmony with nature - actively experience holidays.The Pfauenhof is located in the heart of the Eifel, the wonderful volcanic Eifel with its unique Maare, on the edge of the small village of Utzerath in a fantastically quiet meadow valley surrounded by forest. Two holiday homes with six beautiful flats, lovingly furnished with a special ambience, for 1-5 people. In the summer of 2022, we converted our former stallion stable into our new holiday flat no. 7 with a special flair for up to six people.A dream for children and horse lovers. Riding lessons, guided rides, hiking with ponies, barbecue evenings with campfire at the brook, riding games, brood mares, riding horses and ponies, the dear farm dog Bruno, rabbits and hares, chickens and our Galloway cattle on our pastures.For bikers there are wonderful trails in the surrounding area. The VulkanbikeMarathon in September and various trail parks for mountain bikers. The Maare-Mosel cycle path is a more moderate way to explore the beautiful landscape.On foot, you can enjoy the volcanic Eifel on the Eifelsteig or on Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2021, the VulkaMaar path. Our vacation home (you can find the booking plan on the website www.eifelhaus-brenk.de) is located on the edge of the district of Dahlem-Baasem and offers a fantastic view of the hilly Eifel landscape with meadows and pastures. Shopping facilities and restaurants can be found in the nearby village of Stadtkyll as well as in the romantic village of Kronenburg. With its medieval gates, pretty old houses, the ring wall, the old administration building and the castle, the old town center is a special tourist attraction. The beautifully situated Kronenburg reservoir is approx. 3 km away and offers opportunities for swimming at the beach and boating. The small Eifel village of Baasem in the German-Belgian Nature Park looks back on more than 1000 years of history. The village was first mentioned in a document in 867 as "Basenheim". The local church is well worth a visit; around 1510, the existing single-nave hall church was extended to become the two-nave late Gothic hall church that exists today.

Dear Guest,   We warmly welcome you to the Waldhotel Machtemes-Mühle, located in the southern Eifel in the romantic Irsental, one of the most beautiful landscapes in Rheinland-Pfalz. As the name Machtemes-Mühle suggests, this was once the location of a mill - more precisely, a Lohmühle, which was first mentioned in a document in the 17th century. Here you can enjoy the almost untouched nature in the footsteps of the Lohgerber in the heart of the Deutsch-Luxemburgischer Naturpark and relax ……. let the soul dandle. Kilometers of natural hiking trails lead you along the Irsen-creek  into the "valley of 1 000 butterflies", into an oasis of well-deserved relaxation for body and soul - here the world is still in order, here nature may still be nature. Not far from the Luxembourg border (6 kilometers), the Naturpark-region invites you to visit its sights - the medieval castle Kasselburg, the zoo "Eifelzoo" and the waterworks in Vianden (L) or the copper mine in Stolzembourg (L) , Children love to have fun in the outdoor swimming pool in Neuerburg or try riding in the nearby riding Stable.
