Of water, forest and resilience
The circular tour "Through the Münsterwald near Venwegen" combines an experience of nature with up-to-date knowledge about climate change. Over a distance of almost 9.5 kilometers, this hike leads through forests, floodplains and field edges, which provide examples of how ecosystems adapt - and where they reach their limits.
From sensitive forest edges and drought-damaged trees to new concepts such as retention basins: The six stations make visible how closely forests, water and climate are connected. At the same time, they show the opportunities that lie in diversity, care and sustainable design.
The route is easy to walk and is ideal for a half-day tour.
