With the art and culture trail Mertert, the local history is told in the culturally rich Moselle and Sauer region.
At 12 stations with altogether 26 information panels pretentiously arranged by using glass and stone, visitors learn a lot about culture, history and nature in Mertert. A small loop (3,2km) leads to different sites within the village that play an important role in cultural history, a large loop (9,5km) leads to a wide landscape with beautiful views of the valleys of the rivers Moselle and Sauer.
