Habitat water - Discover on the Echtersbach-Runde the necessity of our valuable element the water.

The village of Brecht is idyllically situated in the Prüm valley and is surrounded on both sides by the river Prüm. 
A part of the approximately 4.4 km long circular trail leads you through the "Gewässerlehrpfad Echterbachtal". 
In 1995 the "water nature trail Echtersbachtal" was created by the municipality on a voluntary basis. 
Immerse yourself in the world of water and the flora living there. Water is the basis of all life on earth.
A rustic resting place invites you to stay there for a while and enjoy a picnic.
While doing so, listen to the babbling Echterbach as it travels through the Prüm Valley. 
The fertile soil here has a variety of plants and is home to many species of animals. 
Some information boards tell the history and origin of the water trail.
