Langscheid Juniper View Short Quality Walking Trail

The Langscheid Juniper View (“Langscheider Wacholderblick”) Short Quality Walking Trail begins at the car park next to the Langscheid Juniper Hut (“Wachholderhütte”). A short path leads up to the hut, which is where this circular tour covering approximately 3 kilometres begins. We recommend that you follow this route in the counter-clockwise direction due to the more beautiful directions of view. The juniper bushes and the dense heather vegetation give the area a northern feel. A path leads right through the unspoilt forest of spruce and juniper. Then, panoramic views into the Nette valley and over the volcanic landscape of the East Eifel open out. At the end of the tour, the path takes you through the Wabelsberg nature conservation area.
