The "Gäßestrepper" refers to an old town legend.

The village fountain in front of the church used to be called the Celtic fountain.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross dating from 1712 is located directly on the approximately 20 km long "Eifel-Camino" stage from Wittlich to Klausen.

Here, too, the Eifel has a lot to offer, and even the cathedral city of Cologne or the castle town of Brühl can be reached by car in 45 or 30 minutes.

The outdoor pool, which is idyllically located in the Nettetal, is still very popular with young and old.

The Catholic Parish Church of the Elevation of the Cross in Monreal is located directly on the Elzbach and, as a 32-meter-long structure made of unplastered local quarry stone, is still a remarkable structural appearance today.
