You can reach this XXL bench on foot via the Albachhöhenweg, which runs directly past it. Coming from Pronsfeld on the L16 towards Habscheid, there is a farm road on the left shortly after the village. Follow this for about 200 m until the intersection where you turn left again. From there, the giant bench is only 350 m away.

  • <p>You can see a wooden walkway winding curvily through a forest landscape. The walkway consists of wooden planks about one meter long and five centimeters wide. On the right side, there is a wooden railing. Grasses, some spruce driftwood, and small bushes grow on the ground of the marsh. Additionally, you can see birches of various sizes.</p>

    Pfarrkirche "St. Kastor" in Weiler

    The baroque church was built in 1727 as a hall building made of plastered quarry stone. After the population in Weiler grew steadily until 1906, plans for a church expansion were drawn up by baumeister Rüppel from Bonn. The church was to be extended with basalt stones by the addition of a transept and a choir room in neo-Gothic style, along with sacristy buildings. In 1909 the "new" church could be solemnly consecrated. Particularly worth seeing is the Marienaltar, which was taken over from the "old" church.
