The | Spicher Ley is a striking rock formation outcrop above Schuld/Ahr and offers a wonderful view from the viewing pavilion


When blamed, the meandering arches of the Ahr exposed the structure of the Variscan folding several times. These rock layers are very characteristic in the area of the Spicher Ley and are therefore an impressive natural monument, not only for geologists.

The Spicher Ley viewing pavilion offers a fantastic view over the idyllically situated Eifel village of Schuld to the former tertiary volcano Aremberg, which rises strikingly in the background.
