Winter sports in Nürburg During the winter season there are three well-prepared cross-country trails in Nürburg.There is a small track (approx. 2 km), a medium-sized one (approx. 4 km) and a large one (approx. 6- 7 km).

With a 20 cm depth of snow, a horse sleigh with 2 Belgian draft horses will travel from Mützenich through the Fens.

The Fischereiverein Gemünd 1960 e.V. offers passionate fly fishermen from around May to October daily permits for the Fly fishing waters Urft / Olef in the urban area of Gemünd.
