Waxweiler
As part of the “Accessibility Without Borders” project, a multigenerational plaza and an accessible path connecting the vacation park to the new plaza were built in Waxweiler in 2022. The trail begins at Campingpark Eifel on Schwimmbadstraße. There is also a designated parking space for people with disabilities here. The distance to the multi-generational plaza is approximately 350 meters.
Several pieces of playground equipment—such as a sound fence, a rotating disc, a ball maze, and a swing for wheelchair users—as well as benches invite visitors to linger.
The multigenerational playground in Waxweiler is a gathering place for young and old alike, offering opportunities for play and physical activity, as well as for relaxation and quiet.
