The view from the Martinshütte over Schuld and the Ahr Valley towards Insul invites you to consider the landscape and its formation from a geological perspective. The formation of the sedimentary rocks, their folding, and their erosion are explained in detail at the various points of the Geo Trail.

    Kleinbahn Philippsheim - Binsfeld "Schnaufbähnchen"

    The steam locomotive of the former Philippsheim-Binsfeld narrow-gauge railroad is still a reminder of the time of the historic narrow-gauge railroad in the Eifel. In front of the former engine shed in Bahnhofsstraße, the historic vehicle is well protected under roof and is freely accessible all year round.
