Zülpich
Born in Zülpich in 1822, Hubert Salentin achieved an impressive career through talent and hard work - from nail smith to successful painter at the Düsseldorf painting school. The Hubert Salentin Museum is now located in the center of his birthplace, directly opposite his lavishly restored birthplace. The new, modern museum presents the Salentin collection of the Manfred Vetter Foundation and the collection of the city of Zülpich together in one exhibition.
