A carnival club is a community of people who come together to celebrate and organize the carnival. These clubs are often active in cities or regions and play an important role in planning events, parades, and festivities during carnival time. They promote the traditions associated with the carnival and provide their members with the opportunity to actively participate in the celebrations.

The villa of Blankenheim is one of the most considerable ground monuments from the Roman time in the Rhineland. The first archeological studies took place in 1894.
