Monschau
The Hohe is the Konzener Berg with a height of 572.40 meters. Once upon a time, the view from the Hohe into the vastness of the Monschau region was incomparably beautiful. A dozen or so church spires could be seen on the horizon. Today, however, the once expansive view is blocked by tall hedges and trees. The Hohe is an important place in the lives of the people around it - not only because a large bonfire is always lit up here in November in honor of St. Martin in the presence of many children and their families. A water tank was built up here in 1933, an important base for the water supply at the time. The small viewing platform of the Eifel-Blick now stands on the elevated tank.
You can reach Monschau-Konzen via the B 258.
The GPS coordinates of the Eifel-Blick: (WGS 84): N50° 35.35062 E6° 15.64853.
